Genesis 39:19-21...People are Watching...
When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger. Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
But while Joseph was there in the prison, the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.
Have you ever been wrongfully accused of a transgression? Joseph was betrayed by Potiphar’a wife. Once in charge of everything the Pharaoh owned, Joseph now found himself in prison, however, God’s hand and favor remained with Joseph. It was so evident that the chief guard put Joseph in charge of the other inmates. The evidence of God’s favor was noticed by the Pharaoh and by the chief guard in Joseph’s life. So too should the evidence be overwhelming to those around us that God is watching over us. His unmerited favor and unlimited blessings are unfolded before us each day. Instead of acting like we are owed something or deserving of more than we have, we should shout thanksgiving praise for all that is bestowed upon us. Our actions, our speech and our attitude in life reflects what is in our hearts. Let Christ shine through and be revealed through your daily walk in all that you say and in every action you take. Praise God from whom all blessings flow…
Blessings,
