Proverbs 21:21...Be Generous...

“He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.”

You don’t have to look far to see that many people are in pursuit of riches and fame, above all else. Give them two minutes of camera time and pocket full of cash and they seem very content, that is until the camera is gone and the cash dries up. It always does. Fame is fleeting, material things evaporate quickly. We should set our sights on the things that matter, righteousness, love, charity and wisdom. These are important, they are eternal and they bring warmth to the soul and happiness to the heart. These are the things that we should dedicate our time and efforts toward. Don’t get caught up in the trap of wealth or possessions over serving and seeking the will of God. It is a snare of the devil, recognize it as such.
