Colossians 1:15-17...God Is In Everything...

“He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things were created by Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

We have all heard the expression “stop and smell the roses.” It is a reference to take time, stop, reflect, recognize and enjoy something that God has provided for us. I think this applies to many things. Enjoy your family, your friends, your time alone in God’s Word. Take time to look up and notice God’s beautiful sky with puffy white clouds. Enjoy the aroma of a fresh rain and the cool breeze on your face. There are so many things that we just pass by everyday that God provides for us to enjoy. As we marvel at God’s creation we are reminded that He holds it all together and is in complete control. For this we owe all glory and honor and praise to Him. Thank you Lord for being in control!
