1 Kings 17:2-4...Meeting Your Needs...
Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
“Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: ‘Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.’”
Soon after proclaiming the word from the Lord that there was to be a drought for the next several years, the Lord instructed Elijah where to go and specifically how his needs would be met. Elijah promptly followed the instruction given him and went to the Kerith Ravine, isolated from everyone and totally dependent on God. Bread and meat were provided every morning and evening and the brook provided him water. God did as He promise, even using the birds to help provide for Elijah. As we walk daily with God we need to be ever mindful of the direction we follow and the path that we take. It is easy to follow the wrong people or advise and find ourselves far from the center of God’s will. We should take the time to examine our motives, seek God’s direction and trust that He will always provide for needs, even if by ravens.
