Luke 8:23-24...Cling to Your Faith...

“As they sailed, He (Jesus) fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger. The disciples went and woke him, saying, ‘Master, Master, we are going to drown!’ He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, the storm subsided and all was calm. ‘Where is your faith?’ He asked His disciples.”

When things are going well and everything around us seems to be calm we find it easy to cling to and proclaim our faith, however it is in the troublesome times and when we find it hard to keep our head above the water that our faith is put into action. Jesus showed His disciples that He is in control of everything, even the winds and the waves. Our faith is in Christ alone. Not in measured wealth, bank accounts, number of friends, nor anything material that comes our way. Keep your focus sharpe on the things that matter and your faith in Christ and in Him alone.
