Luke 2:11-12...Today, He has Come...

"'Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.' Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,'Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.’”

Christmas is such a joyous time of year. People seemly get along better, families seem to be closer and heaven seems to be a little closer to our hearts and minds as we remember those who have gone on before us. Christmas is special. It is the time that we celebrate Jesus birth, the realization that we need a savior and the understanding that God saw our need before we were born. Jesus is the reason for the season, the only reason. He is our peace and our joy. Take time to thank God for His perfect gift, given to those so underserving and given out of great sacrifice and love. God so loved the world that He gave and Christmas is our celebration of that perfect gift.
