Luke 2:16-18...Tell About His Birth...

And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds."

Those that have heard the good news of Christ’s birth were starting to arrive and behold His majesty, and when they had seen Jesus they told the story concerning His birth to others. Notice that once the shepherds had seen Jesus they quickly started telling others about Him and about what the angels had revealed to them concerning the Christ-child. This enthusiasm is what is needed today, to share with everyone the gospel story, the meaning of Christ and the opportunity of salvation. When we are obedient and share this information with others they have the same reaction as did those that heard the news of His birth, they “wonder at those things which were told.” It is our calling to share the gospel story with everyone and to spread the good news of Jesus.
