Matthew 3:11-12...Priorities of 2021...

"I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

We have enjoyed the celebration of a New year and with great expectation as we say so long and good riddance to the trials of 2020. With the prospect of the new year we often take time to sort through things and eliminate the waste and resolve to promote the good and healthy things that life has to offer. Atop the list of good and heathy things for our lives should be the time that we spend alone with God, within His Word and in prayer to Him. God is our Heavenly Father. He wants to hear form us. Although He already knows our every thought and understands our needs He wants to hear from us, to commune with us and walk with us along the way. While setting the tone for this new year be sure to remember how close you are to your Heavenly Father and spend time communicating with Him daily.
