Psalm 15:5-6...Secure and Blessed...

"Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places: surely I have a delightful inheritance.”

The world around us is searching for how to become more successful than their neighbor, how to gain more wealth or simply how to have nicer or newer things. The endless cycle of “I need more” causes us to take our eyes off of the one that provides everything that we actually need. We need to slow down enough, pause every day and just look at the overwhelming blessings that God has provided for each of us. It only takes a moment and we start to realize that this is a countless list, a lifetime of provision and security beyond measure. Understanding and giving thanks to God for all that He provides is the true way to happiness and fulfillment.
