Ephesians 3:8-10...Your Special Mission...

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We are part of a nation that seems to thrive on hard work, long hours and sacrifice. No wonder that many find it hard to understand that salvation is not something that you can work for or obtain through your own effort. Instead it is a FREE gift, offered up by God’s sacrifice of His only Son. Similarly we find it hard to wrap our heads around the fact that we are each God’s handiwork. made for a specific purpose. Unique, different and special all come to mind when we consider that God has a plan for our lives. We see different people, we influence different things and we each have a unique place in the body of Christ. Embrace the fact that God knows you personally and has a specific plan for you, unlike anyone else, and set apart for His glory. Thank you Lord.
