Philippians 4:4-7...No Worries Here...

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We find ourselves anxious at times and if we are not careful worry tends to creep in and before you know it we are stuck in a vicious cycle. When you find yourself slowly sinking into these murky waters refer back to the first part of today’s scripture. "Rejoice in the Lord Always!” If you spend time rejoicing you diminish the time spent in worry and before you know it you realize that your anxious heart has found the peace that only God can provide. Prayer and rejoicing are two things we should exercise everyday. They are comforting and uplifting and good for the soul.

Blessings,
