Matthew 10:29-31...God Knows Who I Am...

Forrest.jpg

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

There are those around us that would suggest that we are small and insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe. While it might be true that our physical stature is small when compared to vastness of the universe we are far from unimportant. God knows who we are are. He has known each and every person since the beginning when He created Adam. He knows our name! Of course He does, He even knows the number of hairs on our head (although some of us have less). We are of great importance to God, we are His family, His children, His creation. We can wallow in self-pity or demean our place in life, however, the better choice is to remember that we are known individually and loved by God.
