Psalm 91:1-2...Trust your Shelter...

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

There are many things that bombard us each and every day. Some we see coming and others blindside us, seemingly taking our breath away. In all that befalls us we know and trust where to find shelter. In the arms of God we are able to find the protection that we need to take the next step, the compassion to soothe our hurts and the love to heal our wounds. As a counterpart to finding shelter we must also place our trust in God as well. Without trust we do not find comfort and without trust we are still seeking for rest. In God we find refuge and In God we trust. He alone is able to provide both.
