And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

In our society we are taught that our main focus should be to work hard, save a fortune and retire with wealth. If that becomes our central focus we miss the opportunity to share with others. Through charity we are able to share with others that which God has so richly given to us as a blessing. Whenever you are concerned about having enough (and there is never enough) or you get bogged down by trying to keep up with the family down the street, remember the scripture above. It should be our comfort and promise every day. In everything, at all times, God has the abundant supply for our good work!
