Romans 12:17-18...Good Over Evil...

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 

When we look to the daily report we see turmoil and unrest. These are lead stories and meant to capture your attention. The by-product is the stress and worry that are also imparted without warning. While the stories are somewhat true there is actually more peace than unrest and more calm than there is storm. It does not seem that way when we are in the middle of the storm, but it is true. Furthermore we are instructed to extend the peace, each of us, as if that very peace depended solely upon us. We are not to repay evil with evil but rather to overcome evil with good. Be a peacemaker, a comforter and a friend. Share the love of Christ by your speech and by your actions, always adorned with grace beyond your understanding.
