Matthew 24:42-44...Be Ready...

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

The promise of the Lord’s return is certain. Although we do not know when, every Christian awaits with anticipation that glorious day. There are some who spend a great deal of time trying to figure out the time and date with futile outcomes and missed projections. Our time is much better spent preparing for His arrival by being ready, keeping our house and our heart in order and continuing in our pursuit of spreading the gospel message daily through our actions and words. Knowing that Jesus is coming again is our comfort and the promise of spending eternity in heaven is our reward. With those in mind our daily task to share His love and reach out to others becomes a joy. We are precious in His sight.
