Proverbs 27:1...Tomorrow is Always Tomorrow...
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.
Planning is a good thing. We can and should be ready to face tomorrow and all its challenges, but we must be careful not to boast about what we think tomorrow may hold, nor place our hopes in man’s plans or designs. Too many times we will be caught saying, “I did not see that coming”. What may shock us, or rock our world, never catches God by surprise. It is His design and His plan that will succeed. We are not capable of knowing what all tomorrow holds, nor would we be able to carry the burden or load. We must live for Christ today, each day as if it were our only day, and then to trust in God for our future. Above all else we know that our future is bright. We know that He holds us in His hands, wraps His arms around us and loves us with and everlasting love. We are assured that God’s promises are with us each and every day.
