So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

This year has been very stressful. It this been difficult to focus on the things that really matter because of all the noise that has been swirling around us concerning the pandemic, elections and the endless rhetoric that seems to flow from social media these days. There are certainly enough distractions to pull us away from the things that really matter. With that in mind, now is a great time to commit to the daily reading and study of God’s Word. As we move toward Christmas it might be good to read and study Luke or Matthew. Within these words we will find the love of Jesus and hear of His marvelous grace. We will also see that thankfulness should be on our lips and overflowing in our hearts. Thanksgiving is not just a season but is a lifestyle that we should exemplify daily in our walk with the Lord. Thank you Lord for everything...

Blessings,
