1 Thessalonians 5:16-19...Thanksgiving...

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

We often hear about the will of God and we spend a fair amount of time asking, in prayer, that God show us HIs will and keep us headed in the right direction to accomplish the same. These three verses are always a good reference to abiding within the will of God. For if we are content with our provision and rejoice daily this gives us peace. Continuous prayer keeps us connected to our Heavenly Father and opens the door of communication that is needed daily. Giving thanks, no matter what the circumstance, and acknowledging that God is our provision is paramount. Regardless of our position in the community or our status in life, we have been endowed with the greatest gift in the history of the universe. Jesus Christ has forgiven us and wiped the slate clean. No one else is able to do that and no one else has ever, or will ever, love us this greatly. It is to him that all thanks is due and during this Thanksgiving week we should certainly take the time to lift up our thanks to Him for all of our many blessings! Thank you Lord for my salvation and thank you for all that you bring into my life through my family, friends and those you bring my way.

Blessings,
