Luke 1:34-37...Praise God....

"And Mary said to the angel, 'How will this be, since I am a virgin?’ And the angel answered her, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.’”

“Nothing will be impossible with God.” Indeed, we should be ever mindful of that statement. We often limit what we think God is able to do based on our feeble abilities to accomplish that which we desire. The announcement of the birth of Jesus and John the Baptist, set the stage for Christ's ministry here on earth and ultimately the greatest sacrifice ever given. A sacrifice for the benefit of our salvation, the greatest and most undeserved gift ever presented. When we put these into perspective and look at the power of Jesus through His death and resurrection we begin to catch a glimpse of how true the statement remains, that nothing, no not anything, will be impossible with God.
