Psalm 5:3...Ask your Father
“In the morning Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my request before you and wait expectantly.”
When we were kids we used to ask our parents for things, a toy, a special candy or an overnight stay with a friend. Our request were always followed with the expectancy of an answer, even though the answer may not have been what we wanted. Most often our parents knew of our request before we even presented them and they knew what the answer would be and that it would be beneficial for us. Our heavenly Father knows what our needs are, even before we ask, and He knows what is beneficial for us. He wants us to ask for His help and for His blessings and He will pour them out upon us. When we ask we should wait with that same expectancy that we did as we were children, knowing that God will answer and will look after us as His own.
