Proverbs 15:3...Is someone watching you?...

“The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.”

As children we were often puzzled by the fact that our parents always seemed to know what we were up to or where we had been or better still what trouble we may have stepped into during our journeys. Their eyes seemed to be everywhere and their wisdom seemed to have no bounds. Now let’s multiply that wisdom and sight by infinity and we might begin to understand the truth that God is watching everything and everyone all of the time. Although it is beyond our feeble minds to comprehend such capacity, God is able. Knowing that His eyes are upon us brings great comfort in understanding that He sees the storm that is coming and already has the solution at hand, but it also provides inspiration to us. Our work, our generosity and our everyday existence should bring praise and honor to His name both in our actions and in our reactions. Not only is God watching us but others around us are as well.
