Because He First Loved Me....

"There is a name I love to hear,
I love to sing its worth;
It sounds like music in mine ear,
The sweetest name on earth. 

Oh, how I love Jesus,

Oh, how I love Jesus,
Because He first loved me! "

These words are from a great old Hymn that we used to sing a lot in my early church days. I am certain that many of you remember it and sang these beautiful words as well. We may not sing it much now,  but the words ring ever so true. Jesus is the sweetest name on earth. His name is like music to our ears. There is nothing more beautiful to hear than the name of Jesus and there is nothing that is more precious than to sing about the value of Jesus! Most of all, Jesus loved us first, not because of who we are or for anything we have ever done. He loved us enough to die for our sins and to rise on the third day to overcome death and the grave. Oh, how I love Jesus, because He first loved me.
