Jeremiah 17:7-8...Perfect Peace Awaits...

“Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

The world around us teaches that we must be self reliant and that we must rise to the top, hence the old “dog-eat-dog” attitude that no matter what it takes the end will justify the means. This type of teaching has lead most of the nation to the brink of insanity, believing that no matter what you think you must do, you can explain it away later. We have lost our way when we succumb to this manner of thinking. Our provider is God, period. When we keep our eyes on Him, trust in His word, and seek to do follow His path we will find that perfect peace that this world simply cannot provide. Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine!
