Reboot Graduation Ceremony
Hey there! I wanted to share some exciting news about the recent graduation ceremony that happened on May 9th at Berea Baptist Church in Stanfield NC. It was such a special event that celebrated twelve weeks of hard work and dedication from all of the attendees who completed the Reboot course. This course was designed to equip them with practical and effective techniques for trauma recovery, and it was led by some truly amazing people. Jody Wetta, Mike Wilson, and Troy Hurst are past graduates themselves, so they have a deep understanding of what it takes to heal and move forward.
The graduation ceremony was attended by seven out of the twelve graduates, and it was a time of celebration, reflection, and honoring their achievements. The dinner was delicious, and the atmosphere was filled with great music, laughter, and conversation. Everyone was treated with so much kindness and love, which made the night even more special. Overall, it was a truly wonderful event that brought so much joy and hope to everyone who attended.
During the event, we had the pleasure of hearing from a former Marine named Jonathan Garagues. He shared his experiences and insights on his time stationed in Fallujah, Iraq, during one of the largest battles of our generation. Jonathan was not only a good-hearted and confident speaker, but he also had a great sense of humor and a passion for helping others.
His story truly opened my eyes as he spoke about his struggles due to the trauma he experienced in Iraq. He emphasized that healing and redemption can only come from the Lord, and he shared how God has worked in his life. It was a powerful reminder that God can work in many ways.
Overall, the event was both informative and entertaining. Following the presentation, the ceremony proceeded and the graduates were awarded certificates, shirts, and pins. The ceremony was documented on film, and a group photo was taken afterward. It was a wonderful experience, and I am confident that all those who attended were enriched by being there.
