Who Are We? - Part 3 - PTSD Recovery Classes
New PTSD Recovery classes starting in August!
At Wilderness Scout Ministries, we recognize the sacrifices that many of our First Responders make. Our founder, Andy Molatch, was a veteran of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and saw first-hand the trauma that first responders are exposed to on a daily basis. Many of the members of Wilderness Scout Ministries are first responders and many have been through the training that we provide. PTSD recovery training is led by men that are first-line responders. They have lived through the trauma themselves. They understand how difficult it is and how much it affects the family. These men are willing to re-live the trauma they have been through in order to share with you how you can find healing and recovery from your PTSD trauma.
Wilderness Scout Ministries will be hosting 2 new classes for PTSD recovery for First Responders beginning in August. The first class will begin on Monday night, August 24, and will meet every Monday night until November 16. The second class will begin on Tuesday night, August 25, and will meet every Tuesday night until November 17. These classes are open to men and women who are serving or have served in First Responder vocations: police officers, firefighters, and paramedics. Spouses of the First Responders are encouraged to come. They have their own trauma they have been dealing with, and they will learn to understand the trauma their spouses have dealt with all these years. There is no cost for these classes. Meals are provided and child care will be available. The classes will be hosted by Wilderness Scout Ministries at our Operations Center at 1819 John Moore Rd in Monroe, NC. To sign up, please visit https://rebootrecovery.com/responders. Fill out the registration form and be sure to choose NC - Monroe in the Location field. One of our counselors will contact you to finalize your registration.
In the video, Bruce Wilkinson describes how we work with First Responders, and our passion for helping those who have spent so much time helping others. Please check out the video, and join us for our next class!
God Bless!
