Matthew 9:14-15...STEADY AS YOU GO...
Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?” Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
There are many people in today’s world that love to tell you what you should do and what not to do. Although some have great ideas few are grounded in the principles of faith. Most are garnering attention to themselves while others are simply promoting a product or idea for income. Surely there are some as well that promote God’s Word through helpful insights and comments. Rather than getting caught up in the arguments or opinions of others we should always ground our thoughts and lean into what we are taught by God. Without a rudder a ship will sail hopelessly tossed by the wind and waves. Our lives can become the same if we fail to use the Word of God as our rudder guiding us through the waves of destruction. Keep your eyes upon Jesus and follow His plan for your life by trusting in him and spending time in prayer.
