Genesis 1:20-21...Beauty Surrounds Us...

And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

We often get caught up in our busy lives and tend not to pay attention to God’s creation that surrounds us. For instance, take a moment and think of all the fish in the sea. All the living creatures that call the ocean home. There are thousands upon thousands of different fish and crustaceans, whales, dolphins and the like. We could easily spend a day just pondering on all the beauty God has created within the waters of the deep. I think that is why we are drawn to the ocean and to great bodies of water, because of the greatness of God. His majesty over all creation is to be observed and absorbed so that we might understand our creator better and worship and honor Him for all that He has done. Stop for a moment today, observe some of God’s majesty and thank Him for your opportunity to be a part of all that is before you.
