Ephesians 2:8-10...You Are Special...

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

This is one of my favorite chapters of the Bible and in these verses we find a real gem. “We are God’s handiwork.” Had there ever been any doubt this settles it emphatically. God has crafted each of us uniquely and specifically for his purpose which He prepared long before we were born. He knew from the beginning of time who we would become and what we would accomplish for His kingdom. All we need to do is listen and follow. Seems simple enough, however we tend to let things get in the way or distract us as we carry out our day. Start the day off right, in God’s Word and pray for direction each day. Remember that God created you for His purpose…how special is that?!?
