Hebrews 11:7...Exercise Your Faith...

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith

Imagine, if you will, the faith that was exercised by Noah. He started building a boat expecting rain when he really did not know what that was. He stepped out on faith for one hundred years in this project. One hundred years! That is a long time to be devoted to a project. But Noah was convinced that what God told him, and reassured him about, was a certainty. He labored and led others to labor for the promise of God. Often we fall short on our commitment to carry out things we know that God has set forth before us. Realizing when we fall short and committing ourselves to complete the vision God is exercising our faith that God know best and is in control. Faith is not easy in a world of “show me” and therefore we, as christians, should lead the way, demonstrating our faith and our resolve to the world that we know the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
