Hebrews 3:12-14...Lift Up Your Brother...

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

We all know someone who seems to be struggling a bit or coping with something that is not quite obvious. What should we do? Encourage them, lift them up and help them to know that you are there. You have been there before and know how much that encouragement means. All too often we simply ask what is wrong or set our sights on digging into what is going on rather than exercising our gift with words of encouragement. It is amazing how powerful simple words and genuine concern can lift someone up. Find a way to encourage someone everyday and feel the blessing that comes your way…
