Romans 8:24-25...Our Hope Is In Christ...

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Hope is a word that is tossed about a lot these days. Especially in the political arena where it is lost amidst the many other promises that are never quite fulfilled. Our hope, and faith, are rooted in the Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith. THe hope that we place in our eternal life with God is a promise that we will see unfold before us. We do not hope for riches or dwell on the material things of life that lose their luster and fade after time, instead, we focus on the spiritual things that are eternal. We live a life of hope that provides a peace that we cannot understand, yet we know who our provider is and who loves us now and forever. Our hope is in Christ…
