Romans 1:16-17...Everyone Welcome...

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes, first for the Jew, and then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith, from first to last, just as it is written, ‘The righteous will live by faith.’”

In the midst of a nation that seems to widely divided and torn from community to community, we, who live by faith know who is in control and who has the answers for each and every question. We must be bold in our faith and not be ashamed of the gospel, for as Paul writes, “it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.” If the world around us acts as if they do not know Christ then who is to blame? If we sit silently by and allow the world to crumble without knowing that there is hope in Jesus Christ, we have not fulfilled our directive. Our lives, how we talk, how we react, how we treat our family, how we treat strangers, how we love and how we show compassion are all huge billboards that tell the story of whom we serve and how we are filled with the Holy Spirit. Ask God each day to direct your path, guard your mind and thoughts and to give you the words to speak to others.
