Ephesians 5:8-11...Let Your Light Shine...

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light  (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness,righteousness and truth)  and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

You may not realize how much your light shines in the darkness around you. As Christians we are a light to shine for others, to draw them to God and help them see the path to righteousness. Often we may feel discouraged or downtrodden as the darkness seems to be everywhere and people don’t seem to respond to our encouragement. Although this may seem to be true, God has a purpose in your life and He will use you a to help others see their way. We may not notice but there is always someone watching us and looking to see how we react to the exigencies of life. Be faithful, be strong and be encouraged that your light still shines and God will use you in many ways that you may not even notice.
