Exodus 11:9-10...Be Diligent and Faithful...

The Lord had said to Moses, “Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you—so that my wonders may be multiplied in Egypt.” Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go out of his country.

There are stubborn people and then there was the Pharaoh of Egypt. His heart was hardened toward the Israelite people so that God could show them His power and might through the plagues that would beset the land and the people. God used these same miracles to show His people that time and again He would protect them and in God’s timing He would set them free from bondage. It is always in God’s timing that things occur in our lives. He is in control. We ask, we receive and we walk the path that God lays out for us each and every day. Although Moses and Aaron were faithful and diligent in their task, it was in God’s perfect timing that the people of Israel were set free. Seek God’s direction, be faithful and diligent and He will see you through…
