Hebrews 11:7...Joy of Faith...
By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
Hebrews, chapter eleven, reminds us of the true meaning of faith. It is often called the faith chapter of the Bible. Here we see the great patriarchs and hear of their faith that drives them to be great servants of God. Why? Because of the hope and assurance of what is to come. Hope has been said, in this same book of the Bible, to be the confidence and assurance of things that we cannot see yet things we know to be true. Our faith is what carries us from day to day. It lifts us above the rubble that comes from shatter lives. It fills our hearts with joy and anticipation of the promise of eternal life with our Lord and Savior. We stand on our faith and we proclaim to others how magnificent it is. Without faith we have no hope. So many today are wandering around, seeking a direction and an answer to their questions. We should share with each of these the answer of hope and the joy of faith.
