Romans 12:9-13...Be Joyful In Hope...

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”

Many people that we meet are searching for how to live their lives, wandering and searching for what matters and how to effectively put into practice the principle of the Christian life. The simple message found in the scripture above is a great place to start. Listed are things that we should exercise everyday, hope, patience and faithfulness; sharing the gospel with everyone and meeting needs whenever possible. The key ingredient in being Christ-like is to put others before yourself, always elevating the other person and encouraging them in Christ. When we are able to accomplish this on a consistent basis we realize and understand the truth of God’s love and generosity. HE>I
