Romans 2:2-4...Kindness is Best...

"Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?"

We know that God’s judgment is pure and based on absolute truth, because that is who God is, without flaw. Today’s world likes to take the seat of authority, deserved or not, and quickly dispenses judgment based on lies, rumors and whatever moves the agenda forward. Take the abortion issue for instance. The lie that has been forwarded for years is that a baby is not considered viable until a certain time during the pregnancy as determined by those who have an agenda to fulfill. Lift begins at conception, period. This is a truth and a blessing from God. We are made in God’s image and formed by His hand, therefore we are His. We have no part in determining the outcome of a pregnancy if we believe that God is in control. And therein lives the basis of the untruth, control. Lies and deceit have caused many to fall away from God and this is just one example. Bickering and threats are not the way of God but rather love, forbearance, kindness, patience and charity are the traits that we should use the most. God is in control and we need to follow His lead and to give honor and glory to Him for everything.
