Matthew 25:37-40...Careful What You Say...

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Our actions and our words are taken into account each and every day. Although we may not notice the reaction of others to what we do or say we may rest assured that it makes a difference one way or the other. When we are kind and thoughtful towards others we are showing the love of Christ that lives within us and that is the greatest witness that we can have on anyone’s life. The lifelong affect of wrongful actions or harsh words are not something that we want to impart to anyone. Instead we want to display God’s love, on a daily basis, in all that we do by helping others when we see a need, lifting each other up when we are down, reaching out to just say hi and comforting those who are hurting. This is where just a little goes a long way.
