Galatians 2:20-21...Christ Lives In Me...

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

For ages people have believed that being good or doing good deeds will win them favor with God and thereby secure a place in Heaven for them once they die. Even today we see people who live like the devil but try to compensate by charitable work or giving back to the community as a way of offsetting their atrocious lifestyle. Good deeds, charity and community service are wonderful things however they are not the way to eternal life. There is but one way and that is through accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. It cost nothing! It is a free offering by the blood of Christ. It is so simple yet it is so hard for some to leave or turn from current circumstances. God's gift of salvation and His unending mercy are ours for the asking, but also they are the gospel that we are to share with others. Tell those around you about God’s abounding love and grace and show the love of Christ each and every day.
