Romans 12:9-13...Joy in Hope, Faithful in Prayer...

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

One thing we have learned from the last half century is that if we, as Christians, keep silent the forces of evil gain strength. This is found in every area of our society and the world at large today. We have been hammered by every imaginable form of sin and debauchery and have quietly stood by and said very little. On prime example of this is the fact that we allowed prayer and the mention of the Bible and Jesus from our public schools. This is troubling in so many ways. Not only the direct attack at our faith but also to the generations to come. We should be able to speak with a loud voice concerning such actions. But be careful, as we are also to love those around us, witness to everyone and remain steadfast in our walk with Christ. Be faithful in prayer and excited to serve the Lord. Remember God has an eternal and perfect plan for everyone and everything.
