Luke 2:16-17...A Child Is Born...

"And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child."

As any parent or grandparent knows, a baby will change everything. How you sleep, what you are concerned about, how you see the future and how you make your plans. Babies are a gift of God and they bring perspective, hope and change to our lives. The announcement of the birth of Christ certainly changed Joseph and Mary’s life forever. More than that the birth of Jesus rocked the universe. The promised Messiah had arrived in the form of a babe. God had come to live with us, to teach and to lead and eventually to die for our salvation. What a difference a baby can make, indeed. Let’s be certain to thank God during this Christmas season for the only reason that matters, Jesus Christ was born!
