Genesis 2:21-22...Our Provider...

"So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.”

There are times when God removes things from our lives and we often wonder why. We may wonder about the purpose or even question the reason, however we should study and reveal what was returned in the end. God took from Adam a rib and returned to him a woman, his help-mate, his partner in life and someone to love! God’s purpose and end results are always far better than we can imagine or dream. This account of the creation of man and woman should remind us that God constantly provides for our needs, even though we may not realize the need. He is supreme and knows our needs long before we have any idea.  God alone is the source of our provision.  That, and so much more are why we owe to Him all of our honor and praise all day long.
