Philippians 4:4-7...Peace and Calm...

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We often find ourselves caught up in the worry and concerns of the day. Before long that turns into being anxious about many things and worry becomes even more prevailing. How do we break the cycle of worry? Rejoice in the Lord! By rejoicing in the Lord and calling on His name in prayer we are able to keep the demons of worry at bay. When we rejoice in the Lord the peace of God, something we cannot explain or understand, will surround us and calm our hearts and minds. By turning to God we draw from His strength and from His resources that far exceed our understanding or imagination. Prayer and rejoicing are the tools that God gives to us in order to approach His throne by way of Jesus Christ. Pray today for calm, pray for peace, rejoice in God’s favor and in His lovingkindness. He will give you peace.

Blessings,
