1 Peter 1:22-23...Born Again...

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

Birthdays are a great time to celebrate and mark the time that we were born into this world. No matter how hard we may try we cannot quite reach back to that date in our memory, however we have all heard stories of how much joy surrounded that occasion. There is however a birthdate that we can see in our memory, our second birth, the day of our salvation. This date should bring even more celebration to our hearts as this is the date that we entered into the realm of the imperishable seed found in the scripture above.We moved into God’s arms and were blessed with the promise of eternal life. We were filled with the love of Christ and overwhelmed by His mercy. God is Good! Thank you Lord for your gift of salvation!
