Titus 3:3-7...Because of His Mercy...
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Justified by Grace. We should remind ourselves of this daily, for without Christ we would be lost and enslaved to our sinful nature, yet we are saved by the free gift of salvation and through His mercy and grace. We should not look down on others or even consider that someone be less deserving than ourselves, no matter their lot in life. Instead we should be prepared to encourage and to share the gospel of Christ and to explain how mercy and grace are not deserved but rather a gift that is freely given. Our lives are a living example of the grace of God and by His power we are able to live without fear and under His protection. Thank You Lord for your mercy and for your saving grace and for being my redeemer and Lord of my Life!
Blessings,
