Revelation 21: 1-2...We are Made New...

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy CIty, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband..”

We may, at times, complain that our country is being divided or that our leadership is driving us down the road to destruction. Often it seems that our entire word is turning away from God and even trampling His name under their feet in order to gain power or wealth as they see fit. As new as we may think these troubles are, and complain as we may, we as Christians hold the promise and hope of a “new heaven and a new earth”. When faced with adversity or trouble we must not take our eye off of the prize before us. Nor should we shrink from giving all praise, glory and honor to our God for all that he has done for us. Keeping our focus on Christ and our hearts filled with His love we can endure whatever the world throws our way. To God be the Gory!
