2 Corinthians 4:16-18...The Best is Yet to Come...
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
Most of the world around us is consumed with recapturing their youth. From the first day of each year most of the advertisements you see or hear are centrally focused on how to stay young while the absolute truth is that we grow closer to eternity everyday. The promise that we have as Christians is that while our physical bodies may be aging and “wasting away” our spirit and our mind is renewed daily through the study of God’s Word and the application of His promise on our lives. We are not focused on what happens on a daily basis but rather we chose to fix our eyes on what is unseen, the eternal, the truth and the hope of all mankind, Jesus. Thank you Lord that you have given us hope and focused our hearts and minds on you!
