1 Samuel 2:1-2...God Is Great!...

“Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the Lord, my horn is exalted in the Lord, I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation. No one is holy like the Lord, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.’”

Our faith gives us peace, not only in the salvation that we have received but also in the comfort of the promise of our eternity. The single most consistent thing in our lives is the knowledge that God is our rock, our salvation and in whom we place our trust. This treasure affords us the confidence to smile at our enemies and to face whatever life may toss our way. We are chosen, adopted and woven into the family God and we stand strong on that promise and strong in our faith against the enemy. Strong against the lies and deceit. Strong against the fiery darts. Remember that our praise and our honor belong to Him and that we should daily thank God for the love and protection that He provides each us. God is Great!
