2 Thessalonians 2:16-17...Encouragement is Powerful...

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Encouragement is a powerful thing. When we set our minds to lift up those around us and encourage them by good words and deeds we cause a chain reaction that trickles down to others. It is almost impossible to encourage someone without them passing this on to another. Too many in our culture today cast dispersions and seemly always have negative things to say about everything they do. There are also many people today that are never satisfied and therefore are always bitter and resentful towards everyone. This is not our directive or purpose. We are a shining light in a dark world, unique and set apart to show the love of Christ and to encourage everyone with our spirit. Love on those around you, encourage everyone to become more like Christ and pray for those that seem to come against you.
